en el Espacio Joven de Salamanca (c/ Jáuregui 16).

Esta semana ha sido el día Contra la Violencia de Género,

y nosotras hemos querido aportar un vídeo como apoyo a esa lucha.

Ha estado expuesto en la facultad de Bellas Artes

junto a más trabajos de otros compañeros/as.

This week had been the Against Gender's Violence day,
and we have contributed with a video because we support the cause.

It had been exhibited in the Fine Arts college
with more works of our classmates.

9:30 Salida de Salamanca a Gijón. El maletero cargado, pillamos la autovía y en marcha.

De camino, nos perdemos: salida equivocada. Llegada a la 13:00. 

Dejamos el coche en el parking y vamos al hotel.
Cargamos todo y lo dejamos en la galería: Mediadvanced nos espera. 

Comemos. A las 16:00 hemos quedado para montar, nos damos prisa y vamos para allá.

¿Un café? No, acabamos de tomarlo. ¡Mejor montamos ya! Pues vamos a ello.

En ello estamos, medimos y colocamos. Antes, desembalamos.

Después ya la montamos. ¿Aquí el mono? No, mejor en frente, con el león.

¿Y la jirafa? Junto a la ventana, ahí se ven bien. Ya están perfectas.

¿Y la inauguración? A las 20:00.

¿Vendrá mucha gente? Depende del día. Pues nos vamos a comprar la bebida. ¡Hasta luego!

Ya van a ser las 20:00, vamos, deprisa ¡que llegamos tarde!

Llegamos, colocamos la comida y esperamos.

No entra nadie. Pues salimos: yo me pongo la cabeza de jirafa

y tú se lo dices a la gente. ¡Perfecto!

Pero, ¿y de qué es la exposición? De fotografía.

¡Ah, entonces sí! (¿Y de qué no?)
¡Pues adelante! Muchas gracias por venir.

A vosotras, ¡y que tengáis suerte!

We are in the wrong way. We arrived at 13:00.

Este proyecto es una reflexión acerca de la moda y la belleza

en nuestra sociedad actual.

Nos hemos centrado en el papel de la mujer en este ámbito

porque lo sentimos en primera persona.

Meditamos acerca de nuestra función dentro de este entorno,

cuestionándonos si somos víctimas o creadoras de todos los estereotipos que nos rodean.

Seleccionamos los complementos que más identifican a la mujer

y exageramos sus funciones de manera que la apresen y reduzcan sus movimientos.

This project is a reflection about fashion and beauty

in our actual society.

We have centered on the role of the woman in this ambit,

because we feel it in first person.

We reflect about our function in this environment,

questioning us if we are victims or creators of all the stereotypes that surround us.

We have selected the most female complements 

and we exaggerate their functions to capture and to reduce women's movements.

Nuestra ausencia está justificada

porque estamos preparando varios grandes proyectos.

El primero que os podemos contar

es que exponemos en la galería Mediadvanced de Gijón

nuestra serie fotográfica "ANIMALADAS".

Os esperamos a todos los que estéis por allí

del 15 de Marzo al 1 de Abril.

Y para celebrarlo, hemos hecho este vídeo promocional

Our non-appearance is justified

because we are preparing some big projects.

For the moment, we can told you

that we'll be exhibiting our photographies called "ANIMALADAS"

in the Mediadvanced gallery from Gijón (Spain).

If you want to see it,

it will be from 15th March to 1st April.

con los alumnos de allí.

Vestidos comestibles

Estos son los vestidos que 

hicimos para el desfile de la 6º edición de los

Premios de Hostelería de Salamanca.

Naranjas, limones, nueces y lechuga

fueron los ingredientes que 

utilizamos para este proyecto.

Han estado expuestos en la Escuela de Arte,

pronto os enseñaremos todo.

Food dresses

These are the dresses that

we did for the fashion show of the 

6th edition of Salamanca Restaurant's Awards.

Oranges, lemons, nuts and lettuces

were the ingredients that

we used in this project. 

 These had been in our exhibition

in the Art School of Salamanca. 

You will see more about it early.

que estamos exponiendo, el Alcaraván.

Se titulaba

¿Qué harías tú con una manzana?

y consistía en que dábamos una manzana a cada persona

y tenía que hacer algo con ella.

Los últimos 10 días de la exposición

podéis ir allí a ver vuestra foto con la manzana que hicisteis.

we did a workshop in the Alcaravan cafe,

where we have our exhibition.

It called

What would you do with an apple?

and it was that we gave an apple to each person

and they had to do something with it.

The last ten days of the exhibition

you can go to the cafe and see your photo with the apple you did.
